Back to the job on our next visit to the Ottery... With the help of Nick and a farm jack we managed to extract the last three dangerous steel spikes, and also had yet another session of leveling the whole dock.
But the most significant change we made was to add some steel tube cross bracing between the dock legs. This almost completely stopped the wobble, and made the dock feel very stable.
We also filled in the deck around the legs with hatches that could easily be removed to adjust the legs, and cut down the legs to a standard height above the deck.
